We are an entertainment commentary and news site, with content by and perspectives or interests of fan women and girls. And by that we mean: the Shub is a place for massive fans to geek out with other massive fans about our fandoms and fannishness.
A Shub is a triumvirate of three fansisters living in two countries who take three days to notice that this word, once pointed out, is the only word you can see in our domain name. It is also a verb.
Fangirls Hub isn’t just for self-identified female fans or just about gender issues. The underlying ethos of the Shub is one of broad inclusiveness and gender sensitivity. Many of our Shub contributors, commentors, nerd-advisers, and Buffy enthusiasts are fandudes — and proud of it!
OH NOES! You better tell us about it in the comments, on Twitter, on Facebook, or via email. Don’t forget to spell a lot of words badly!
If you don’t see a comment you posted it might be stuck in moderation–give it some time. If it still doesn’t show up, ask yourself, was I spamming the Shub? If you were, shut it down. If you see your comment with no more vowels, it means you violated our comment policy (see, disemvoweling). Try again next time with less asshatishness, thank you kindly.

Yep–and successful ones can even become regular contributors. Pitch us your ideas at fangirlshub@gmail.com. We hope the Shub can be community-driven. We can’t be fans of everything, but we want to feature the stuff you love so we need you!
Absolutely. Contact fangirlshub@gmail.com for more details. We have many options including banners, sponsored posts, and other creative partnerships, particularly if your product is highly relevant to our theme and audience.
Maybe, if we have something interesting to say, but be careful what you wish for!
